Streamline Divorce: A Collaborative and Fast Tracked Process

In 2019, Michigan law created two new divorce processes. They are commonly called “collaborative” or “fast track” processes. The main feature of the new processes is that options have been created to divorce in a respectful way without filing a lawsuit — unlike the “old fashioned” divorce litigation process. Streamline Divorce is a form-based process, unique to our office, which helps clients take advantage of the new legal options, resulting in less stressful and less costly ways for clients to finalize a respectful divorce.
